Brownies!

Assalam o alaykum w.w.!

I guess, I’m posting after quite many days reason was my shwetooo nonii and Arham. Yes, first bhai was here and I was after noni … she’s so cute and active Masha Allah … yesterday was her first b’day and she loves me … hehehe

When bhai left, my sis came … and Arham … he was in England for last 5-6 months … he’s back now … with quite a BIG BANG … I guess … !

Yet, he speaks not much but he understands everything and is masha Allah very intelligent … will say aaaasooo aaajao and when I’ll be drinking tea or eating something … or even anyone else … he’ll come running … saying yummmmmummmuyummum …. That’s the sound for I WANT TO EAT!

Then on seeing computer … he’ll say baby baby … meaning I want some baby’s pic on computer now … so I usually start slideshow of him or noni’s pictures. Very cute biliii hay meri jaaan hai dono …. Today, he left for Lahore.

I’ve, at last, tried the brownies twice by Hafs’s given recipe … Thanks dear … both times it was delicious and perfect … I’m giving away the recipe here as well … !

Gather some 1 cup of sugar (I had taken caster sugar) , 1/4th cup of cocoa powder, 3/4th cup of flour, approximately 5 table spoons of butter or margarine (I took one thing each time), 2 eggs. First, pre-heat your oven for some 20 minutes at 200 deg centigrade or some 375 deg Fahrenheit. Then, beat eggs for a minute or two then add sugar to it. Heat butter (I did in microwave) and add cocoa to it and stir until a cocoa mixture is ready. Then in sugar egg mixture add flour and then this cocoa mixture. Stir till they become leveled or one. Then, I added some crushed walnuts to it … as per your choice. Oil some baking dish … I took a square shaped 8 x 8 dish …pour in the dish … I added some sultanas (black currents) on top and now place it in oven for exactly 20 minutes, not a minute more It will be soft and delicious … !
