Devil Wears Prada
Friday went kinda interesting … bit in good way and similarly in bad manner too … Bad coz of the suicide bombing that happened in Marriott’s car parking which killed 2 and injured 5 people … but overall it was a complete shock … My office’s just yards away from Marriott and we heard a big BANG at almost 2:35 – It was like a loud thunderstorm’s roar, and sometime later we came to knew it was no sky tale … but a bomb blast … and we were just having a stroll right there just an hour back … my friend came saying it could’ve been us … I was like who the bombers?? Nahh yaara I’ve different plans for the evening
Jokes apart – May Allah bless the souls and injured ones get back to health soon, Ameen (For more details on all this you can have an insight look into Islamabad Metroblog) .
We had movie night that evening scheduled in our office (girls only)
I wonder if any men were getting jealous, lolz so the movie was the one mentioned in title … it was about how a simplistic enters the world of Fashion … with all business tactics and dodges on high … fitting in … learning … but leaving with no compromises on one’s individuality – OK I’m making it a serious one but that’s what was the message or something … a girlish, light romantic and sweet film it was
Highly Recommended … another reason for enjoying it was at the end the number of girls who actually saw the movie was 4 … lolz and the DVD’s cost was around 1500, since it was original print or something … BTW the Nate who ws supposed to be the hero resembled begum nawazish ali a lot, really
Andrea (andy) was the girl from princess’s diary and Miranda was from 101 Dalmatians (yup I’ve forgotten the names) – there was another side-hero kinda guy – He was supposed to be the Hunk but GOD even his brows were golden … brunes rock
lolz …!
And today I watched this “First Daughter” – oh it was a sweet film too – with a Lovely Man … and the girl was nice too … I haven’t seen bewitched yet … I’m dying (not really?) to see it … so let’s see …!

Hey! Are you still blogging?
I wasn’t sure where are you blogging, here or at wordpress.com
Well, I just watched “Life is beautiful”. It is an Italian movie but an English version is available.
Believe me, this movie touched me more than any other movie has ever touched me. The second movie ever that REALLY brought tears into my eyes (first one being “A Beautiful Mind”).
An old movie, but a must watch if you haven’t seen it yet. It is very funny, but at the end of the day, you will clearly feel your soul touched.
I think the security guard, who sacrificed his own life to save many others, deserves recognition.
Meanwhile, I surfed to Star Movies on TV the other day and “Lo and behold!”, the movie that was just starting to come on air was ‘A Fistful of Dollars!’ (starring Clint Eastwood in the lead role). I could hardly believe my luck…no power cuts either, throughout the movie!
I wonder why they don’t make Westerns like that any more!!
itni roshni mein movie kaun dekhta hai?
I am hating this bombing business, After Islamabad , Peshawar!!!!!. They are just make life miserable. I don’t know what do they get by giving their life and killing others.
Movie han nice going
