Joys and Sorrows!

! اسلام علیکم

Well, this was one week in itself…! First had to do lot of studying as holidays are ending and mids are approaching fast. May this Eid brings happiness to all needy people worldwide, ones going through their difficult times and for the nations striving for peace and independence, and may it bring prosperity for our country and the nation. This Ramadhan, I enjoyed the Jumat’ul Widaa the most, as normally I was having quite a frantic routine, wide awake all-night and dead to the world all day. I’m usually more comfortable at studying in nights, so I usually prefer to study when rest of the world usually sleeps : ) Anyways… going to Jumaa’s is such a must condition that we’ve never even gave it a thought that women can miss Juma’s … it’s like Oh! You aren’t going to mosque or to Juma’a … God! Lady pick yourself up! So, I really enjoyed it, the sermon and the people, meeting so many people.

But I don’t know, this time I wasn’t .. rather I am… not very keen or passionately anxious for Eid … mainly ‘coz what is the joy of Eid without ur dearest ones? Missing ami too much … last 1-2 yrs were an exception, but we 4 brother n’ sisters + 2-3 cousins, we were like going out every chand raat and would roam till minuit [midnight]! Jinnah super, Super market and Marriott are usually the places of attraction in Islamabad, with as we use to say here that we are all going for the “tawaaf” طواف of the famous “Gol market” in Jinnah Super Market. Then, afterwards, it was like not sleeping till 3 as mehndi was to be applied, clothes were to be pressed, bangles were to be set. I mostly like عید الفطر a lot as it comes after Ramadhan … we do something for which we are rewarded. Abu usually gives us ultimatum at night, that if you’d be late than 8 am, I won’t take you. But this never happened : ) Going to Eid prayers are a must too, I sometimes think that people and usually it’s the female half who don’t go to Eid prayers, what would be the whole fun : ) Eid prayers are the most ecstatic part of the Eid, as we meet lot many people… and that’s the best part, really ! But this time, as normally two months in lunar calendar of 29 do not come together, so I was mainly expecting Eid to fall on Monday … but officially it was announced that it’s tomorrow … on Sunday ! I was in full mood of fasting tomorrow and having Eid on Monday … but it’s here now … so EID MUBARAK عید مبارک to all of you …. ! But I’m not feeling like happy at heart .. no anxiousness to have my dress all made up… no longings that I haven’t applied mehndi yet ….

کوئ بھی چیز اپنی جگھ پر نھیں رھی
جاتے ھی ایک شخص کے کیا کیا بدل گیا

[Koi bhi cheez apni jagaa’h par nahi rahiii … jaatay hii aik shaks kay kiya kiya badal gaya .. !] [sorry .. if anyone's not gettinh the text right !]

Missing Ami too much … nothing is same as before but yeah now we’ve to pass the days in the happy memories of the days passed with ami with all her love and prayers… !

Ami, I love you a lot … missing you … looking forward to the day we’ll meet …!

Allah hafiz n’ Bonne Eid !
