Gol Gappay

Have you ever  felt a sudden shifting of burden from your heart … you just have to see a significant soul and yeah – here all the worries go (no you dont even have to communicate the worries).
It happens to me at times, Happened today as well … I was feeling irritatedly low for past two three days … Imagine I even text my friend

It’s the phase when life suddenly becomes dark and all blue … feel like crying n crying with no stoping ever …!

Oh … and poor soul almost freaked out coz of my usual emotional lack of communication … I dont think so I’ve ever had messaged her like this … so the result was flooding of my mob’s inbox and missed calls (and gracious me … I didnt responded to anyone – I was just in no mood)

So … the going-outs we plan once a few months (and that was being delayed up for weeks) got worked up instantly … (it’s a Tip in my hands now, yehhhh) and had a quick meet up today.

Just seeing them was enough … bought some 10 books (including Mohsin Hamid’s Moth Smoke, Like the Flowing River by Paulo bhaijan, Princess by Jean p. Sasson, Who moved my cheese? and a few others ;) that should remain un-disclosed) …. that reminds me I still have a few left unread on my desk — complete them first, missy :x

After so many days, finally today got my hands on a heavy dose of gol gappays too … I simply love them … though eating them’s a fun (both in urdu and english) and I’m master in both … so ate my own huge plate, and then picked up 2-3 from my friends’ plats too … **greedily wicked**

I guess Gol Gappay can cherish you in moments too …. so if next tiime someone around you makes a frowning face … serve gol gappay … with the chatkharay daar khatti chutney … *aaaTh*

Long day ahead … should run to the bed where fairies are waiting …  !

Depression does tend to make one anti-social, but yeah, nothing better than gol gappay to cheer you up! :D

I can’t seem to remember the last time I read a book cover to cover. Even if I start reading, I usually don’t get past the halfway mark, before I give up, howsoever interesting the book may be. The last book to receive this treatment was ‘Hitler moves east, 1941-1943′ by Paul Carell. It’s the height of laziness, I suppose! :)

Meanwhile, I just like to go for a long walk, all by myself, when I need to clear my head.
