Hating and Almost Weeping

I hate all these bikers who rush by you. Was off to pindi late evening today, just came out of this shop with my dad a few feet ahead … two idiotic pea-heads (anger all in all) rushed on their bike from right at GOD-KNOWS-WHAT-SPEED, seeing them coming straight into me at such high speed I moved a bit to left side. In split second, they snatched my bag and even chadar … for a second or two I was lost what happened … thanksfully the car keys were in left hand. I.D.I.O.T.S.

Ahhh … my prettty pretty prettty mobile was in it, my id card, company card, atm card, USB, wallet with some 1000+ and god knos what else …. ‘n my mobile had my so so personal pictures and stuff … GOD … hoping that those two idiots suffer from bad stomach all their lives (nothing could can be bad than this) … !

The chadar was of something like georgette and sharp snatching caused these bruises onn my neck and on arm …!

My face’s almost making a 235 deg angle ever since … allah ka laaakh laakh shukar hay I didnt took my camera … !

In urgency had my SIM and ATM card blocked !

I hate everyone now!!!

and a very dear friend's leaving office .. 'm sad for her too ... chatter box to compliment moi :|

ps: alhamdolillah, some really good man (may allah bless him with happiness) called a few minutes back saying he found the bag in an inner street of satellite town … now tomorrow we may know what’s left inside .. shukar hay I had home number on my copany card and not my mobile … thanks god ID card and atm card are there allah karay sim bhi ho …. I had a few close-to-heart messages in it … :”(

Alhamdolillah alhamdolillah … nevertheless. It scares me kidnapping someone can be easier too or god forbid any such sick mentality bits …. may allah keep us safe from all harms!!

I loved my Mobile so much … I cant live without it … was my camera, contact and mp3 player … and how will I have all those contact numbers again …!

and biggest irony was when I called for atm card closure THIS song was running in background.

Update: so it’s just the cards, mobile, wallet and USB gone :-(

Assalamu Aleikum Asma Baji,

Very sorry to learn of the incident, alhumdolillah you are safe and sound. I know there are a number of emotions that you might be going through: anger, frustration, and a feeling of helplessness, but as stated by you in your own last post “Look on the Brighter Side”.

Believe me the situation in Karachi is much worse as far as snatchings are concern, I my self have been held twice at gun point for my belongings and mobile, and in the last one not only did the muggers ran off with my mobile and stuff but also a small manuscript of Durood Sharif which was the only remaining souvenir of my mother. When I resisted for the Durood Sharif they shredded my clothes and thrashed me like hell and all the while I was pleading them Kay Uncle Yeh Meri Ammi Ki Nishani Hai. But then if something has to happen, it will, nothing can stop it.

I can only remember what my mother use to say kay Jo hota hai achay ki liyay hota hai, every misfortune contains within it the seed of an equal or greater good.
Plus Allah Mian ko bhi to check karma tha kay app mein kitni Himat or Bahaduri hai.
Shukar hai woh log app kay hath nahi lagay, otherwise I am 100% sure they would have ended up in a place similar to the Affliction Cell of Adiala Jail.:)

I hope Allah bestow you the wisdom, patience and courage to cope with this hard time and restore serenity & calmness. And also reward you with a handmade Shawl with embroidery on it from Swat after the law & order situation improves there.

Take care and Allah Hafiz.

May Allah protect you and all everywhere and anywhere.
I can imagine what Muhammed is talking about situation in Karachi. One just can not walk with mobile phone freely or valuable items.
Allah protect all of us from these things and guide those people who do it.

Cheer up Asma..inshAllah it will be better tomorrow:)

Aww! Yeah mobile theft hits the hardest! These little things have become SO important in our lives. I back up my cell phone every night so that I always have a complete backup of everything on my computer. Yeh alag baat hai keh computer ka backup nahi karta to sub kuch ur jata hai :P

Khair, good luck with the recovery!

SidhusaahebJuly 28th, 2007 at 5:45 pm

I lost a mobile handset once. I had not clipped its carrying-case properly to my belt, I suppose, while riding my motor-bike to office and dropped it somewhere on the way. Whoever found it, switched it off immediately.

Subsequently, the police also gave me a good deal of trouble for registering a ‘lost item’ report, a copy of which I was required to submit to the telecoms company, in order to get a duplicate SIM card issued.

Like you, I also felt bad about losing some photographs that I had not moved from the handset to my computer. Some contact numbers were also lost forever.

By the grace of the Almighty, I’ve escaped being robbed so far!

My father did have his brief-case stolen once, while he was on a train and asleep. It contained a lot of important documents, just like your hand-bag did, and securing duplicate copies made him face a lot of problems, later on.

I hope something like this never happens to you again and that most of your documents will be recovered!
