As for, “You read a few lines and feel as if that’s exactly how your inner-self feels … weird that someone can portray your emotions so well …”, for me that is the acid test for good poetry.

I agree that poets are able to achieve this on account of their sensitivity, in addition to an exceptional hold over the language, of course.

I think everyone of us does feel..quite similarly..though we do not express in same way. Poets express with words that rhyme.. and painters express beauty in series of dots.:)

Salamz Asma Baji,

Well to be honest I am not very much into Literature esp. Urdu, just to the extent of an bystander; i.e I talk less and listen more. Waisay I could’nt grasp the above stated Ghazal (meray palay nahi pari as they say) but still you deserve a “Wah Wah”

The Reason for my post is just a small query for which I require Your Majesty’s cerebral opinion.

Salamz Asma Baji,

Haiyay, Spring came & went, moreover autumn also came & went but Asma Baji apka opinion nahi aya. Barah-e-Karam thori Nazar-e-Karam idhar bhi farma di jiayay.

Asma Baji, the thing is kay Karachi ki larkiyan are quite infact way to smart; we were having lunch in our office and this female co-worker of mine came up with question and said in front of my boss that whoever gives the best answer will get to have a free effort (term we use for muft ka khana given by our co-workers) at the winner’s desired venue. Since I have been losing for the past two months, this time my ego jumped in I thought this is best time for getting to my revenge.
I am vegetarian so the food is not reason, but Asma Baji believe me larki kay paiso say khana ka maza hi or hai, esp. when she is from Karachi and her name is Nida.

To sum it up Asma Baji, I don’t want to lose for the third and salary milnay say phelay hi 2000 (minimum that is) ki duzz nahi lagana chahta. Yehi mouka hai apnay previous loss ko recover karnay ka. SO plz plz plz plz plz help me win. (I’ll share the food with you )
