Aukhay Painday …

“lamiyaan nay rahwaa’an Ishq diyaan” ***

Ever wondered how it really goes exactly like this … when the time is hard everything becomes complex … troublesome and hard to get.

As if in some kind of a loop, it always get struck exactly like this … whether they be personal endeavours or worldly … related to life issues or climatic … two steps in direction of ishq and ten powers who drag you back.

Does it happen to you, as well? I believe it’s a common happening in this circle of life we’ve thrown into.

*** For people who can’t grasp the title and first line, it’s in Punjabi (and is pat of allah Hoo the song in KKL – I’m stick to this song since I first heard it :) ) It says: when time  is difficult, way to Ishq even prolongs.

True, eh??

That is true. I think basically an equilibrium exists in nature…even around our own personality. When we are pushed or pulled in one direction, equilibrium is disturbed and the remaining forces act against or for us to restore the balance. In Ishq we only concentrate in one direction and other things push hard on us so that ‘ demagh thikaaney aa jaye’ :-D .
Ishq diyaan rahwaan aukhyaan… kyonkay ishq kardey ney aukhey paandey :-P

I agree with those who have concluded that life is 10% circumstance and the rest i.e. 90% is comprised of one’s reaction to the given set of circumstances.

By getting exasperated or by running out of patience, one can make a situation seem far tougher for oneself than it actually is.

I quote from Waris Shah:

“Waris Shah naa fikar kar mushklaaN daa
Jo kujh hovnaa si, so ee ho rahyaa ji

Waris Shah ki faayda jhoorney daa
Jo kujh hovnaa si, so ee ho rahyaa ji

Waris Shah, jaaN Rabb di mehr hoNdee
Hukam hoNdaa ey neyk sitaaryaaN nooN

Warish Shah miyaaN sabhey kamm hoNdey
JadoN Rabb hovay mehrbaan miyaaN

Waris Shah naa Rabb bin taahNg koi
KiweyN jitiyey maamley haaryaaN nooN

Waris Shah jihnaaN nooN hor naa taahNg koi
Kamm ohnaaN dey Rabb saNwaardaa ee

Waris Shah jihnaaN umeed naa taahNg koi
BeyRey tinhaaN dey aaqbat paar hunday”

Firstly I am in love with the entire KKL album………namely Bandeya, Allah Hoo and Mahi Ve.
Things seem to appear more difficult from the point where we become aware of them. Until the time that we are not conciously trying everything seems to go fine. The minute we become conscious that we are infact trying to achieve or change something…….difficulties step in. Maybe because then we become conscious of all the hardships along the way as well.

I never thought that you are good at punjabi along with English :D . Very creative and thought provoking poetical verse from Waris Shah who is undoubtedly known as Shakespeare of Punjabi.

Suggestion: Why have you not written punjabi in Urdu script like this

لمیاں نے راہواں عشق دیاں
