24; Too Old

Wait I aint talking about 24 Drama Series.Its the number of years I’ve spent here. As the days are passing; I’m becoming rather reluctant to go on.

24 is a BIG number; grown up, mature, old enough. I don’t feel like any of these My thoughts persist as they were last year.

I feel detached from life; nothing’s pleasing me and I want to run away from the thing we spell as L.I.F.E.

Noops, I’m neither suicidal nor suffering from sweet-16-syndrome !

Khair cutting out the crap I’ve written; let’s share something from past. I’m the only kid in my family who actually celebrated her BIRTHDAYS (full-fledge) til 17-18 yrs of age Then it became an affair like cutting cakes outside in uni or just going out for dining. Though, I did none this year.

Khair … as a kid birthdays meant GIFTS – LOADS of GIFTS When I was 6-7 years old, on my b’day while I was greeting everyone who came, there came two of my friends from street. AND can you imagine they came without gifts I didn’t let them IN ~~(god I feel so embarrassed to remember this and ROFL at the same time too)~~.. I actually remember pointing at them to leave They went back crying and came after 10 minutes with a gift

My sibs still tease me on this :< I was a kid then, NO?

My parents got me chocolate pastries on the last one…My ma used to bake a cake at home on some earlier ones…Generally, it just feels good to be remembered by friends and relatives…Otherwise, it’s just another day…

I’m 24 and I feel like 54. :/ I want to feel like 14, or rather 4. No, 14 it is! (when you are 4, you are not conscious of the sinf-e-nazuk, which kinda sucks )
