Seriously, that’s a cake? According to Absar, proxies are banned in UAE too.
With their fancy of banning websites before they even go online, I don’t think the UAE govt leaves it’s surfers with much of a URL choice.

i don’t know of anybody who knows of a way around these sites universally banned by authorities.. includes orkut/flickr/twitter and about anything they deem inappropriate
