I thought about this for days long and finally I think … I’m not after diamonds – a DSLR would be fantabulous =))
Yes, though its months away but start saving for a present now

Put it as ‘gift condition’ in your nikah nama…Mr. guy will be more than happy to replace diamonds with it…I have seen some desi guys at Henrys

My advice would be to get one with a Carl-Zeiss lens.

Then make it clear to everyone that you want one with a Carl-Zeiss lens.
I love cameras. I too don’t have one. But topping my wishlists are Nikon D80, Canon 450D. If D80, I’d rather go with the VR lense.
I’ll check your flickr profile, and see what u’ve been upto. Of whatever I’ve seen, I’ve noticed you’ve hidden the camera settings and other details about the photos. It sometimes helps others to reverse engineer or learn from it.

How’d you like L1 for a pocket camera? Of your photos, the colors are bright and sharp. Very nice. Are these st. from camera, or post-processed ?

Yup … I’ll dig into how to retain picture properties :~)
L1 is a pocket camera … and most of them are straight … a few post-processed but minor ones like colors, highlights et al.

Oh, My friend is already giving me a DSLR on my wedding. HAHAHA. But, it’s not anytime soon so bleeh.
