BOKEH Dreams

Posted by mE on Jun 24, 2008

Yup my cam cravings are back…. over nightly. The Path to Unknown Destiny: Life

As I flickr more and more my cravings go to wild range … I’m flickring Bokeh images … pure pleasure they are. If you are not aware of Bokeh, probably this or easier, this can help :~)

Right now I want to leave everything, buy an awesome camera and go out to explore the world.

Sigh - the wishful thinking.

Took this shot couple of days back, howzatt? Critique?

ps: prayers needed my dad will be going througha surgery in a day or two.

I thought Bokeh Dreams is another way of saying … “Broken Dreams” hehe =P

Great picture, Asma. And I like your signature ;-)

And btw, not being a photographer I can’t offer my valuable criticism, hehe. The picture strikes me, so, I say it’s great!

  2. Hina Says:

And I’ll remember your father in my prayers.

  3. Sidhusaaheb Says:

It is not a subject I would have chosen to photograph. That’s just an honest personal opinion, however, and has nothing to do with the quality of the shot or the subject being or not being photogenic. We all get excited by different subjects, I suppose, which we might then choose to capture on camera. :)

Wishing all the best for your father’s surgical procedure!

  4. Zios Says:

Just an ok pic…not one of the nicest you have taken…though for you it may have different value. :-) .

God bless your father with speedy recovery, inshAllah!.

  5. suleman Says:

But I see you heavily post-process. But beautiful image and idea nonetheless.

    prayers are there.

  6. purpledrifter Says:

I dont ever get photographers…I mean ok so its beautiful its nature…but forcefully trying to find some abstract logic out of it….heheh gimme a break…

Hina Yeah Bokeh and Broken sounds same same =P The signature looks fine naa … Barra soch soch kar banna :) You can criticize any ways dear :P

Sidhusaaheb And I get excited by all such things … usual objects hardly have any appeal for me :P

  12. purpledrifer Says:

It’s some olympus version. :( The guy who was selling it made us believe it ws the best, [although its the worst]. Sigh. I would’ve preferred a canon or something else.

  13. Fariha Akhtar Says:

May Allah(SWT) bless ur father with good health.
Btw nice bokeh…but I feel greying out the borders doesn’t really make ne difference :P or is their something that I’m missing out in this pic?
