Dim Highlights
Posted by mE on Jul 29, 2008It was a busy week in terms of London jalsa on MTA. Stuck to it 3 days long, was so much fun. I planned to visit UK this year but alas winds were not in my favor. Probably next year then.
Thought of making brownies coz thats what I was yearning for one full week. AT last made it on sunday late eve. Had to go to an uncle’s place so made for them and a smaller one for my own highness. Was good enough … need to put more butter next time. That reminds me of the calories. Shucks. Why every good thing should be calories loaded. I need to loose 25 lbs flat. Shucks even more :\ No more cakes, no more fuzzy drinks. I Hope hope hope. And loads of water. If I’ll be sent in Sahara I may die of hunger but not thirst I’m sure. If deathstalker comes in my way first, probably it’ll win. Khair.
I’m hanging on with one or two chores for past few weeks … should complete now. Have to work on the pending newsletter too. Were unable to publish last month’s and good God its already 29th. Why time flies when it should not and stays when it should. Feels like loosing grip on it day-by-day. On top of it, the DSL’s playing funny games at home :/
BTW, did you like the new look of facebook. Its pretty ok I guess. Not so good not so bad. By the end of this year, I’ll definitely buy a DSLR and a laptop. DSLR can’t live without. Laptop mobility I’ll be needing eventually.
Not to forget my office is making me freaking crazy. They can afford 250 PCS on UPS but they cant afford 50 fans on UPS. SO when lite goes off in the building for 2-3 hrs in 9-6 spans. All we are left with exhaustion, lack of ventilation and Hotness around. And yeah ON pcs. Freaking hell. Yesterday by COB I was angry and was near to faint. Everyone here complains but no one has guts to speak for fear of unknown. Here everyone loves to complain BUT no one would care to speak and will suffer. They deserve goons like Zardari ruling them and looting them. We are getting what we deserve. Stands true for whole Pakistan. We suffer, we complain and then just sit around saying What can I Do. Khair what I’ll do from today is will shut my pc off and will switch on the fan. By hook or crook. The admin/management has nothing but fake assurances to suppress you.
And this freaking mehngaaayi is making me nuts. Reminds me of a sms I got a few days back.

And tell you what, I’ve gained weight! I’ve *actually* gained weight. I was shocked when I tried my most favourite shirt (a souvenir for singapore) and it didn’t fit :’( I’m on a diet now… but wait, I need to finish my pringles first

25 lbs = 12.5 kg approx, I suppose. Goodness gracious me!
No fans? Every one should start using newspapers to fan themselves, all at once, whenever there’s a power cut. So, they won’t be able to work as fast on the PC, with one hand, and that should be equivalent to a ‘go-slow’ strike.

I think the last time you wrote about the need to lose weight, you wrote that you had to lose 15 pounds i.e. 7.5 kgs approx. and now it is 25 pounds i.e. 12.5 kgs approx. A gain of 5 kgs since then. Masha-Allah kya sehat bani hai! Goodness gracious me!

lolz the same thing happened to me today,i was making some brownies(mom’s special birthday treat) and i added less butter than i shud have,they turned out ok but were kinda dry.

@mE, actually, someone told me about this site and this particular post. As I was trying to figure out which company you were writing about… so I asked. I didn’t know who Sensationalized was until after tazanaan was referred. Of course, I could be lying and both these identities could be part of my multiple personality disorder.
Thanks for the offer for writing for Islamabad Metblogs. I would be interested but have a little query regarding it. Would you be able to email me so we can discuss this, rather then clutter up your blog?
