Kas-Sauti

I remember as children how much we used to play kasauti. Yeah apart from chirya urri, satt panja and yassuu panjuu har kabootar doli.

With typical questions as mard/aurat, zinda/murda. Crying over wrong countings and what not. At times playing with my sibling … during the 90’s load-shedding era … to make things interesting we’d even think of personalities (read characters) from within our families. I can still think of a few characters in our extended family … we’d have love to play kasauti on ;)

Thoroughly enjoyed playing it again ^_^

And I kind of liked this picture I took. It was a whole series that I shot on black and bronze jamawar. Jewelery from egypt … glasses from suisse ;)

Wow!! Amazing pic!! Love the bronze color.

And used to love playing kasauti with Dad! :D I think it’s such a good way of increasing kids’ knowledge.

hey are u one of my siblings????????? i cant believe kasauti, 90s and loadshedding… i vividly remember all of us, sometimes parents included, playing kasauti during spells of loadshedding….such a lovely time… you’ve brought back memories!

90s mai to mai kher kaafi bara hogya tha pta nahi ho sakta hai mere ghar k bachay kheltay hoon, however pic is more than just nice and the way u focus this jewelery thing is very rare to be seen and i can say that this pic has cleared that black and bronze are made for each other.

My first reaction on seeing the pic…I would’ve wanted to have another shot taken after standing up, if this one was taken sitting down i.e. basically, with the camera poiting downwards from a much higher angle…This is no critique of course, just instinct… :P

BTW, apart from ‘chiRiya uRi’, I have no idea how any of the other games that you’ve mentioned are meant to be played.
