Agony … Oooh Agony

Give one thing and their creativity would give way to a complete absurdity on the piece of cloth. (pardonez-moi if you are into kaam waalay kapray being a guy too ;.. it puts me OFF wesay .. khair)
In one chakar no one would ever give you a complete picture. You’ll find a fault in design … come again …. the fitting won’t be right. Come again … oh the tailor-master forgot to fix this up. And here you are left thinking why can’t these people can do a thing right for once at least. Oh I’m so missing my sis who won’t give a single penny above yet would make them do the thing right :’(
This was probably my 25th chakar to this designer’s place and still the things are not right. Same mistakes … and I so don’t wana go back and ask her to fix it up yet again. Oh take a deep breath. Drink some tea.
Can’t I hire someone to do all this for me? *sniff sniff*

I believe that girls like to be in this ‘agony’
a dress is a dress… doesn’t matter
as long as it fits… and of course, should be comfortable
the rest is accessorizing… which is quite overrated

as it happens, girls have no taste for things simple, efficient and planned out properly. It was a pleasant surprise that one of your readers, Exquisite, put it so rightly: girls like to be in this agony.
Seriously, I am just waiting for my wife to make a new friend with whom she can go to her girly-shopping and save me from the agonizing experience of distastefulness and mundane whining and what not. Some girls, (read most) including my otherwise nice wife, just don’t get it how you go to Pentaloon or Cotton & Cotton and you’re out with some shopping in less than 15minutes.
Why does everything in life has to be a big deal esp. Khana and Pehnena. Really.

And some brothers are unfortunate enough to have to do the ‘going to the shop’ while the sisters sit at home and whine to the tailor on the phone!

No dress is worth that amount of trouble, except maybe your wedding dress, as in THE wedding dress, not the huge trousseau which is tradition to give!! Urgh, I can’t stand it!!

But seriously…you can hire services… what are wedding planners for? …but as generally in Pakistan whole of the family comes together and execute the wedding operations…the market for these services is very small….
Don’t worry…this is very normal..atleast you won’t have to wear loose ‘ khussa’…
