At last It Happened

3 years passed since Islamabad Metroblog’s initiation …. we saw phases.

  • no meetups.
  • Noops not at all .. like we are shy people (yeah sure … I’ve just recently figured out that I can be anti-shy too :P )
  • Khair finally one of the metroblogger initiated and DUH … everyone ditched the poor guy :s

So the time passed … and passed ….people came and people left …

  • considering I almost know all of them … I wanted to have a good meetup before I leave (yet to achieve 1000 posts mile stone :P ) .. so this time I mailed around that we are having a meetup this day this place  so you people better come.

So finally today we had our meetup … 6 people showed up which is pretty good .. the coffee served was yummiest .. thanks  to Talha Bhai I paid zero :P

And he brought such a lovely card that everyone signed and loads of emotional duayein too. Shukar hay Allah ka the tears didn’t come out … warna he tried his best. I’ve yet to go in that mode =P  It  was awesome meeting Asim and Mansoor again, meeting TMB  for first time, and meeting fahim, hshim and monazza and another kid I didn’t get to know his name :S

And man my Irish Cappuccino was YUMMY … the weather was beautiful.

ps: IMB so feel like a baby itself … i’ve nearly 800 posts up in there and I still remember how me and Talha bhai initiated the idea. How came up with first few bloggers .. Haa. Memories. Beautiful memories.

Can I get a bit emotional here ? Sigh.

Aww, it souns like you had fun when ppl finally showed up! Even me want that cup of irish cappuccino yet i don’t drink tea or coffe!

I’m a bit sad that i didn’t knew you when u started blogging, and lately it seems more and more like you are trying to say bye in ur posts. Are you planning to leave ur readers? Cause that would be really sad and i would really miss your posts, especially the photos.
